At CAV Aerial, we recently partnered with ATP Roofing on a fast-turnaround drone roof survey across five properties in East, North, West, and Central London — all completed in a single day. This project shows exactly how efficient aerial roof inspections can be for roofing and property professionals.

Careful Planning and Flight Permissions

Every flight was planned in advance with a full risk assessment and flight plan. This ensured compliance with CAA regulations, local airspace restrictions, and site safety protocols.

The Paddington site in Central London required extra care. The area sits close to restricted airspace, so we carried out additional pre-flight checks and coordination to ensure full legal compliance and operational safety. This attention to detail allowed the team to get the required imagery efficiently, without delays.

High-Resolution Roof Surveys, Delivered Fast

Across the five properties, we captured:

4K aerial video footage for inspection and marketing
Overview shots showing roof layout and key features

All files were uploaded to a private Google Drive folder the same evening, giving ATP Roofing rapid access to everything they needed for quoting, documentation, and client reporting.

In addition to the survey data, we created a short summary video showcasing the day’s work — perfect for their team and their clients. We also produced a cut-down clip optimised for social media, helping ATP Roofing showcase their professional service and project coverage across London.
